Notice, Deposits & Payments:
** Typically, customers book anywhere from 2 months to 2 weeks in advance. Availability is not guaranteed.
Orders $100 and below require full payment at the time of booking; orders over $100 require a 50% NON- REFUNDABLE/NON- TRANSFERABLE retainer at the time of booking.
Payments are accepted through Cash App and Venmo.
To confirm your order in our calendar, you must submit payment/deposit through the above-mentioned payment methods.
The remaining balance is due 5 days before the order due date (except for weddings that require further advance payment).
Deposits are non-refundable.
Rush Fees:
**In some cases, last-minute orders are accommodated if there is availability. A $25-$70 fee will be applied to all rush orders placed less than one week before the event date; next-day rush orders will incur a double rush fee. All rush orders must be paid in full at the time of booking. When ordering a cake, rush order cake flavors are vanilla ONLY when given 48 hours or less.
Refunds & Cancelations:
**All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE/NON- TRANSFERABLE. If an error occurs on behalf of Alexus D’lites, a credit may be rendered and applicable to a future order. If an order is canceled one week before the event date, date changes are acceptable, and a credit will be given to us within 365 days from the cancelation date. All monies used to purchase items for the order before cancelation is deducted from the credit.
Due to the nature of items sold, no returns are accepted under any circumstances.
Order Changes:
** Any changes made to an order must be reported within 24 hours after booking; this includes theme changes, add-ons, date changes, etc. Please note: additional charges may apply.
PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. Prices are non-negotiable. Sales and promos do not apply to any order already placed.
Treat & Cake Design:
** All photos provided to Alexus D’lites are for inspirational purposes only. I do not duplicate the work of others but will ensure the outcome is similar. Colored buttercream and chocolate may deepen over time, resulting in a slightly darker color; However, I do my best to match the colors provided, I cannot guarantee an exact match.
Pick-Up & Client Responsibility:
** All pick-up orders should be picked up by a specified date and time. The pickup location will be disclosed once the order is paid and secured. It is the responsibility of the client to pick up their order at the designated pick-up location. Hours of operation are as follows.
Tuesday- Friday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Saturday- 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.
** Once an order is picked up by the client or a person elected by the client, Alexus D’lites is NO LONGER RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES occurring during transport, set up, or any time thereafter.
** There will be no refund made for any no-show or unclaimed orders. Further, Alexus D’lites reserves the right to resell the items or donate them to the charity of our choice.
** Please do not leave cakes and/or desserts in direct sunlight or high-temperature climates; store in refrigerator or a cool, dry place.
** Please transport cakes and/or desserts in an air-conditioned vehicle. No refund will be given for melted and/or damaged cakes and/or desserts due to improper storage. The client is responsible for providing an appropriate environment for their cakes and/or desserts.
** All hard candied fruit is best consumed within 1 to 2 hours after recieving. No refund will be given for melted candy.
Home-Based Kitchen Disclaimer
**Alexus D’lites is a home-based dessert shop, and products are made in a kitchen that is not required to be inspected by the health department. By placing an order, you agree that you are fully aware of this fact.
Nut & Food Allergy Disclaimer:
**Alexus D’lites is not an allergen-free, gluten-free business. Its products and/or baked goods may contain or come into contact with the following ingredients: Nuts, Milk, Soy, Gluten, Eggs, Wheat, and other allergens not listed.
**The client is responsible for informing guests of any potential allergy hazards. Alexus D’lites is not responsible and will not be held liable for any allergic reactions or injuries sustained due to consumption.
